Buffalo Bills legend and NFL Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, continues to battle the toughest of opponents long after his professional sports career has ended.  Kelly and his wife Jill have endured the loss of their only son Hunter to Krabbe disease in 2005 and more recently Jim has had several battles with cancer that have led to him having his upper jaw reconstructed.  Through it all, Kelly credits the love from his family and his faith in God for getting him through the tough days and focused on enjoying the little things that make up everyday life.

On July 18, 2018, he was awarded the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance at the ESPYs.  On that night as he did in his playing days, Jim Kelly delivered in the clutch leaving all who listened to him on their feet cheering in admiration for all he has been through and endured.
