The balance between work and life is a big thing people struggle with throughout life. It is very important to keep a separation between your personal life and your work life. If you are having a bad day at work, your family should not feel those repercussions when you get home after work. In doing this, it will improve your home life, and your work life.

These two worlds should cross at times, as your family should know what you are working on and how your work life is, but you should never take out your anger on your family because of something that happened at work, and vice versa. Your co-workers should also not know much about your personal life either, what you do at home should stay at home, if you allow your co-workers to know about your family life, nothing will stay personal. This balance is very difficult to achieve, as it is very easy to decompress at work about your home life, or decompress at home about your work life, but your family and co-workers do not need more added stress because of your problems. If you are having problems at work, talk to a trusted co-worker about those problems, and if you are having a problem at home, talk to your significant other or another family member about those problems.

I also struggle with balancing work and personal life at times, but I always try to remember that everyone has their own personal stress, and I do not want to put anymore added stress on anyone. Once I figured out how to balance work and life, I have learned how to handle stress better and not struggle with personal issues near as much. I have also learned how to talk to certain individuals about certain subjects and it has made my relationships with my co-workers and my family stronger. This should be important to everyone who struggles with certain issues at work, or at home.
