In a casual style of dress, it is best to wear slacks. A dress shirt or blouse, a knee-length dress, and shoes that cover the entire foot.

The small business casual dress code calls for dark wash jeans. Khaki pants can be worn, too. Button-down shirts are the most common for men. Casual blouses can be worn by women.

Specific requirements of the dress code may be specified by the business owner or manager. Women can wear flats or even tennis shoes depending on what is appropriate in the work environment.
